The OCFL Newsroom and companion news app was a vital news and information project I launched in 2014. The breaking news site and free mobile app allows residents to receive news from Orange County Government on tablets, Androids, iPhones and iPads instantly. The app was specifically designed for browsing and navigating articles on mobile platforms. Most stories are shared on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, community publications and monthly newsletters. I managed the flow of news and information for Orange County Government during emergency activations for Hurricanes Matthew, Irma and the Pulse Nightclub tragedy in Orlando, Florida.

Holiday Heroes Toy Drive

From 2012 through 2018, I managed the publicity and marketing of Orange County Government's Holiday Heroes Toy Drive, which grew into a highly anticipated philanthropic endeavor for Central Floridians. Since its 2011 inception, nearly 42,000 toys have been distributed to Orange County families.
